• Blackbuck hunting case (1999): Salman & his co-stars of Hum Saath Saath Hain were accused of hunting blackbuck deer & chinkara (endangered animals) while shooting for the film in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. For detailed timeline of the case, watch this video: Salman's Blackbuck case timeline
• Hit-and-run case (2002): Salman drove over his car over the people sleeping on the pavement outside the bakery at night. 1 person was killed while 3 persons were injured in this accident.
• His relationship with Aishwarya Rai (2002): Aishwarya's parents lodged a complaint against him for harassing their daughter. Later, he denied all the allegations imposed on him saying that he loved her.
• Fight with Shah Rukh Khan (2008): Salman & Shah Rukh fought at Katrina Kaif's birthday party.
• On 5 April 2018, he was found guilty in the Blackbuck Killing Case and was sentenced to 5 years by Jodhpur Court, Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri pronounced the verdict.
